Brent O’Quinn is the owner and CEO of O’Quinn Insurance, one of the largest family-owned insurance agencies in Volusia and Flagler counties. A native Floridian, Brent grew up in DeLand, later relocating to Tallahassee and eventually settling in Ormond Beach with his wife, Erin, and their children. He graduated from Florida State University with a Business Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Risk Management and Insurance. After graduation, Brent and Erin began their careers in insurance at his father’s Allstate office on Granada Boulevard.
Brent started his insurance career working every role in the office, from front desk admin to customer service, sales, and management. In 2009, Brent and Erin took a significant step by purchasing his father’s midsized Allstate agency, which at the time had five staff members and ten million dollars in premium. Since then, the O’Quinn’s have grown the agency into a “Mega Agency” representing over 90% of the home insurance carriers in Florida, including all A-rated carriers in the state. Today, the agency boasts more than 35 team members and over 35 million dollars in premiums. O’Quinn Insurance provides a comprehensive range of services, including Auto insurance, Home insurance, Condo insurance, Renters insurance, Landlords insurance, Mobile Home insurance, Flood insurance, Boat insurance, Motorcycle insurance, RV insurance, Bonds, Excess Liability/Umbrella insurance, Commercial insurance, and Workers’ Compensation insurance.
Over the past 24 years, Brent has become deeply involved in his community, supporting numerous charity events and initiatives. His signature blue tent and “World Famous” O’Quinn hot dogs or Spiked Italian Ice have become fixtures at local events. In 2021, Brent and Erin donated over $20,000 to Provision Packs, further demonstrating their commitment to giving back. Brent is a former President of the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce and has been recognized as the Top Agent by several carriers, including Allstate, Security First, Florida Peninsula, and Travelers. His agency has also received multiple awards, including Business of the Year from the Ormond Beach Chamber and Best of the Best Insurance Agent, Agency, and Financial Planner for 10 consecutive years.
